Steps to Apply through Express Entry
Step 1: Determine Your Eligibility
- There are two ways to check if you qualify for an Express Entry program:

- Review the detailed requirements for each program.
Step 2: Evaluate Your Score
- If you are eligible and submit your profile, you will be ranked in the Express Entry pool using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
- The CRS is a points-based system that:
- Assesses and scores your profile.
- Ranks it within the Express Entry pool.
- You need a score above the minimum threshold for your round of invitations.
- Use the CRS tool to estimate your score.
Step 3: Prepare Your Documents
- To complete your profile, you will need documents such as language test results to prove your eligibility for Express Entry.
- Some documents take a long time to obtain, so start preparing them early.
- Gather the documents you need.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
- Your Express Entry profile is where you provide detailed information about yourself.
- If you are eligible, you will be accepted into the candidate pool and assigned a CRS score.
- Submit your profile through Nextgenvisa.
Step 5: Receive an Invitation and Apply
- The highest-scoring candidates in the pool receive invitations to apply. If you are invited, you have 60 days to submit your application.
- Most complete applications with all supporting documents are processed within six months.
- Apply through Express Entry.
